Protests for June 29 – Re: Portland

Summary

Around 7PM, protestors gathered to march in memory of Jason Washington. By 10PM, around 200 protestors were at MCDC. Around 1:30AM, police officers exited MCDC and pushed back protestors. They took a phone from a photojournalist covering the protests. Close to 2:30AM, police officers used munitions against protestors, injuring several people.

Cops just charged and really fucked up two people. Several live streams caught it. I was in the park speaking with a colleagues down they charged and wrecked two people who couldn’t run. WHAT’S SO BAD IS… 1/

To reiterate: not a single member of PPB stopped for this obviously injured person. They charged over her when they advanced and did not stop for a health check when they retreated. At least 30 of them. No one stopped. No one called a medic.
